How many years have you been with Ripon/Walsworth? 36 years, since Aug. 16, 1984
Have you held any previous job titles with Ripon/Walsworth? I have only been in the customer service department. Ripon Printers was my first job right out of college. There was one CSR. I was hired in a newly-created position as a customer service clerk, and moved quickly to become the second CSR, then crew leader and then supervisor when my predecessor left.
The thing I love most about my job is… I like that everyday is different and unpredictable, and never boring. I very much enjoy the people that I work with, and I enjoy the strong bonds and friendships that I’ve made over the years with my customers.
Is there anything in particular that attracted you to the printing industry? Customer service was attractive to me. I had been a waitress at various restaurants throughout my high school and college years, and enjoyed the interaction with and service to people/customers.
What are your interests outside of work? Biking, kayaking, golf, traveling, reading
Other personal tidbits: I’m married with two grown sons – one who is married with a daughter and is an engineer in Minneapolis; and the other is a high school social sciences teacher in Milwaukee
