Computer Support Department – Brookfield, Missouri
At Walsworth, my role as an eCommerce Coordinator is to answer questions that parents, yearbook advisers or any customers have. Generally, these are emails or phone calls asking about how to create an ad or requesting a refund.
Last September was my first month both being in the printing industry and at Walsworth, and I hope to stay for many, many years to come. My husband, Tyler Black, has been in IT with Walsworth for a little over a year now.
I like being in an office setting and conducting business with others. My husband said everyone was pretty nice to work with and he never came home upset, so I decided to try for a job. Now here we are!
The thing I LOVE the most about my job is that I sit next to someone who took me under her wing and does not bat an eye when I ask any question, silly or not. She has taught me a lot about our job and continues to be a “work mom” to me.
If I had a personalized coffee mug at work, it would say “If my mouth doesn’t say it, my face will!”
I enjoy coming to work every day to see all the people I work with! I love walking in and being able to have conversations with everyone about anything immediately.
A fun fact about me is I have my Bachelor’s in Equestrian Business and absolutely LOVE horses!
I have a husband, Tyler, and we got married in 2021 and have been together for four years. My two sons, Merlin (10 months) and Weylin (two years old), are both named after wizards. We also have a two-year-old male half-lab-half-German-Shepherd dog named Apollo after the god.
I enjoy art, horseback adventures, and anything involving my family. They mean the world to me and I love going through life with them. I enjoy going to equine therapy and leading the disabled groups horseback while they play games. I also enjoy working with food banks like Second Harvest by bagging items for them.
I believe that Walsworth has given me an opportunity to financially support my family while my husband is in the National Guard. Walsworth gives me a place to further my education in business and learn the ins and the outs of customer service.
