Photoshop Settings
Adobe Photoshop is the premier raster image application and is often used to adjust and enhance photos for print readiness. We have included downloadable color settings to help you with that task.
All images should be converted to their final print color (CMYK, Duotone, Grayscale, or Black). Resolution is very important in your raster images, as they are imaged at high resolution to the printing plate. Standard screen resolutions of 72-125 are not sufficient for print production.
Walsworth suggests 300 ppi for all color and grayscale images and 900 ppi for all line art.
