Accounting Department – Marceline, Missouri 

At Walsworth, as of September 2021, I work in Accounting and Cost Accounting as an Accounting Clerk. I have worked in Desktop, CD Paneling and Kit Departments.

I have helped in several departments during the 23 years I have been with Walsworth.

In my day-to-day work, I work part-time with Accounts Receivable helping get invoices out to the customers, and I also work part-time with Cost Accounting to help with input of cost towards jobs.

When I began at Walsworth, I was starting a family and needed to provide for them. I wanted to work at a place I was able to work and still be able to be involved in my kids’ school activities, and I found that with Walsworth.

In my position, I like the diversity of my job. Working in two departments gives me a variety of duties daily.

Walsworth has given me the opportunity to advance in the company. This helps my family reach their goals.

If I had a personalized coffee mug at work, it would say “It’s fine, I’m fine, Everything is fine.”

What I love most about my job is my coworkers. The people I work with make me want to come to work every day. They have helped me, cheered for me, and cried with me. We really are a family.

A fun fact about me is I love the television show Gilmore Girls.

I have been married to my husband, Richard, for almost 3 years. Together we have four children and nine grandchildren. When I’m not at work, I love being with my family and relaxing at the Lake of the Ozarks.

I enjoy giving back to my community by adopting a resident at Christmas and donating to our local food pantry and any local charity I can.
