Caprice Caster
Yearbook Event Planner/Admin Coordinator, Overland Park, Kansas
I am the Event Planner/Admin Coordinator for the Yearbook Sales Team. In addition to planning the International Sales Meeting (ISM), I assist with the registration and invoicing for Adviser Academy and I plan and manage registration and invoicing for Elite Weekends. I also support the sales reps with their marketing budgets and quarterly bonuses as well as assist our mobile sales reps with their temporary housing. I assist with sales training. I also recently took on some office manager duties including ordering supplies, ordering catering and I am the lead on the Fun Committee in the Overland Park office. I also assist HR with candidate management, scheduling interviews and tracking referrals.
In other words, I tackle a wide range of projects from detailed planning and number crunching to cleaning up food.
I’ve been with Walsworth for a year and three months. I thrive in fast-paced, creative and fun environments where I can be of maximum service and Walsworth has all of that.
The thing I love most about my job is the people I get to meet and work with. They are why I come to work every day.
My personalized coffee mug would say “In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun.”
A fun fact about me is I have two car names! Caprice and my maiden name is Peugeot.
I have a parrot, Fernando, who has a very large vocabulary and tells me every day, when I leave for work to “be a good bird!”
I have quite a few hobbies! I love hiking, gardening, fishing, and traveling. I’m a bit bird crazy. I also LOVE working on jigsaw puzzles. I am a fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins, the KC Chiefs and I watch almost every F1 race.
I can sum up how Walsworth helps me and my family with one simple phrase: Happier at work – happier at home!
I give back to my community by giving blood and frequently do odd jobs through VolunteerMatch.
Two of my favorite memories at Walsworth so far are the Las Vegas costume night at this year’s ISM and an escape room I did with last summer’s intern and the training team.
