Rich Zweiback
Commercial Sales Representative, East Coast
I am a Sales Representative for the Commercial Division. I help customers and prospective customers with their print initiatives.
I’ve been in the print industry since infancy, as my dad was also in the book industry! So, I essentially grew up surrounded by books. Before coming to Walsworth two years ago, I was a Sales Rep for a different printer for about 10 years. Before that, I was a Production Director for a B2B magazine publisher.
What brought me to Walsworth were the values and type of company that Walsworth is all about. I wanted to work for a privately held company with a demonstrated commitment to its employees as well as toward the future.
I love talking print. It’s fun for me to help customers realize their visions and goals in print. I enjoy reviewing their plans and helping them get the best outcome for their budgets.
My personalized coffee mug would say: “He not busy being born is busy dying,” a Bob Dylan line that to me says that you should continually grow, or risk being obsolete.
What makes me want to come to work every day is knowing that every day will be different with new challenges and that the organization of Walsworth will help me help my customers. I’m a big believer in “the team concept” and my teammates at Walsworth are always ready to help and have great attitudes.
A fun fact about me is I’ve played in rock bands for the last 20 years and before that, I was a rock writer for various print and online outlets.
My wife is very involved in cat rescue, so we end up with a house full of critters (usually the hard cases no one else wants). And we have the best dog in the world – a strong-willed Chihuahua mutt that thinks it’s a Rottweiler.
Some of my hobbies include Rock ‘n roll. And if I’m not working, we are on the beach here on Long Island year-round.
Walsworth has given me the peace of mind of working for a successful company and being secure in the future that they will continue to support my efforts in a “drama-free” environment.
One of my favorite memories from working at Walsworth is the wild turkeys that were grazing outside in the yard by the conference room in the St. Joseph plant.
