Todd Herzberg
I am currently a Commercial Sales Representative at Walsworth. I was a Third Shift Crew Leader on the G-18 over 15 years ago. I work to nurture and grow current customers and prospect to add additional customers.
I started in the printing industry right out of high school in 1980. I ran presses at 3 other companies before starting on third shift in the web press department at Ripon Printers in July 1990. I started printing the high school newsletter and got deeper into printing after high school. Started running small sheet fed presses then web presses and then switched to sales.
The coolest thing I get to do at work is get to know some of my customers on a personal level.
If I had a personalized coffee mug at work, it would probably say “Treat others the way you wish to be treated!”
I come to work every day because of the chance to help customers with their catalogs and using my press knowledge to help steer them away from possible trouble.
A fun fact about me is breaking my ankle at a church youth group outing gave me the opportunity to prospect for the new heat set press that I was originally going to help run. Instead, I ended up in sales after my light duty was done.
I have been happily married for 35 years this year. We have a 32-year-old son and a 25-year-old daughter plus Ella & Oliver, our 2 dogs.
For fun, I enjoy fishing, hunting, darts and camping when not spending time with family.
I like the fact that Walsworth is family owned/run and that they keep several small towns going and growing with the plants and the contributions they make to the local communities.
To give back to the community, I donate blood and volunteer for other things if the timing is right.
One thing that I will always remember about working here is meeting some good friends and growing as a person.
