I currently work in the Art Department, where I take the information and artwork provided by schools and bring it all together on the computer. Once a school reviews the project, I make any requested changes and send it on to production. This is my first position at Walsworth, and I’ve been with the company for a little over three months. 

If I had to describe my job to a friend, I’d say schools send us their artwork and details on paper, and we turn all of that into a finished digital layout. After the school approves it, the project moves forward to be produced. 

I came to Walsworth because I’ve always had a passion for art. Walsworth stood out as a place where I could do what I love while also having good benefits. 

The coolest thing about my job is getting to see all the different covers schools create and viewing projects from so many different places. 

My personalized coffee mug would say: “Quiet but kind.” 

What makes me want to come to work every day is the environment and the stability. The positive work setting makes a difference, and the paychecks are definitely nice to have. 

A fun fact about me is that I enjoy feeding stray cats, along with painting and baking sweet treats. 

When it comes to family and pets, I have two cats named Little John and Butterscotch. 

In my free time, I love to paint, bake, craft, crochet and go on walks. Spending time with family is also important to me. 

Walsworth has contributed to my future by providing health plans and good pay that help me live comfortably and plan for the future. 

One way I give back to my community is by donating clothing I no longer need so others who don’t have enough can benefit. 

One of my favorite memories of working at Walsworth was when the fun committee hosted trivia. We got to enjoy popcorn and spend time together; it was a really enjoyable break in the day!
