Raesean Williams
Cyber Security Intern, Marceline, Missouri
As a Cyber Security Analyst Intern, I help monitor the Walsworth network traffic for unusual activity and help identify any potential threats. If my friends asked me to describe what I do, I’d tell them something along the lines of, “I’m a digital detective hunting for bad guys in my neighborhood.”
At the time of writing this, I’m finishing my fourth week at Walsworth – Corporate Office. Walsworth is a company that’s always striving toward the growth of both itself and its employees, and that message really resonated with me.
One of the nicest parts of working at Walsworth is the chance to work with some truly brilliant people. Even those I don’t directly work with are very kind and make me feel at home. I enjoy being able to learn something new every day.
My personalized coffee mug would say: “Running on Java.”
Some fun facts about me are that I’m left handed, and my birthday falls on Thanksgiving in 2025. I have two cats (one orange and white, and the other black and white), one dog that’s an Akita-Husky mix and a yellow and brown python.
Some of my hobbies and interests include gardening, boxing, tennis and weightlifting.
My internship at Walsworth has provided invaluable experience in my field of study before graduation next May. This opportunity and Walsworth’s commitment to this program are greatly appreciated.
I treat everyone with respect and kindness, no matter whether I know them or not. I enjoy being friendly and always offer a helping hand whenever I see the chance.
My most memorable experience so far was having lunch for the first time at the corporate office – I’ve been hooked ever since.
